This is for ’17+ WRX’ that have a cast aluminum turbo inlet instead of the composite inlet found on USDM WRX’.
The Canadian turbo inlet is made out of cast aluminum instead of the composite inlet found on USDM and the majority of other markets. The cast inlet features a coolant passage that is not found on composite inlets. This coolant passage occupies space that the traditional mounting of the GrimmSpeed EBCS also occupies. Our solution is a simple modification to how the EBCS is mounted to the inlet, and a re-route of the hoses. These changes will not affect the functionality at all, and will not differ from the composite inlet version of the EBCS.
